Lunch Program

Prince of Peace Catholic School participates in the hot lunch program subsidized by the Federal Government and follows those guidelines.

Lunch money is collected every other week through the parent envelope for the following two weeks. Parents are asked to pay By The Family in the envelope included with your hot lunch menu before the meals are served. Please put the following information on the envelope:

Name of each child, grades and the amount of money enclosed

Checks can be made to: Prince of Peace.

Milk Costs Per Year payable the first week of school:

• Early Childhood 3 - T/Th - $11.00
• 4 Year Old Kindergarten - M/T/W/Th - $22.00
• Kindergarten - $75.00 (Milk - am/ Juice - pm)
• Grades K-5 - .30 cents per day for those not taking hot lunch and wishing to purchase milk.
  This should be included in your hot lunch envelope.
  Extra milk will only be given with parent written permission. Include payment for extra milk in your hot lunch envelope.

Morning Snack

Students are permitted to bring snacks for before or after morning recess if they so desire. In keeping with the Diocesan Wellness Policy and to help students develop good nutrition habits, we recommend that snacks also be nutritious. Suggestions - fruit, veggies, yogurt, cheese, crackers, popcorn, 100% fruit juice, non-sugar coated dry cereal. Please avoid chocolate, granola bars, fruit rollups, fun fruits, and sugary foods that promote tooth decay.
