First Grade

Supply List

• Backpack (soft- sided, no wheels)
• Paint shirt
• Crayons - 24 count
• Colored pencils (12 count - not erasable, please)
• 8 Pencils with erasers tops - (#2 soft Ticonderoga brand pencils sharpen well)
• 1 set water color paints (Prang brand is preferred)
• 2 sets washable wide markers (basic color pack - 1 set is for Art class)
• 1 set washable thin markers (basic color pack)
• 2 zipper style cases
• 1 large eraser
• 6 white glue sticks 
• 2 bottles Elmer's glue
• Scissors (pointed tip)
• Pencil box (for scissors, glue sticks, erasers, etc.)
• 3 sturdy folders (with pockets along the bottom)
• 2 Reams of white copier paper (20 lb.)
• 1 roll of paper towels
• 2 boxes of Kleenex
• Canvas Bookmobile book bag (cost $3.00- provided by school if no longer have from last year)
• 18" x 24" oil cloth
• Brown County Library Card
• Label all items with child's name (except glue sticks and pencils).
• Please open and place all markers, scissors, and crayons into the pencil box.
