4 Year Old Kindergarten

Children who are age four by September first can be enrolled in our Four Year-Old Kindergarten. We have both full day and half day 4K programs that align their curriculum with the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards in the areas of:
* Language Development and Communication 
* Cognition and General Knowledge
* Health and Physical development
* Social and Emotional Development
* Approaches to Learning

We provide educational experiences in a caring environment that develops and enhances positive self-image in each child.  Children are guided to develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually, so they may realize their full potential.  Children will be engaged in active learning through a program of consistency that encourages creativity and individualism. 

Our specific goals are:
* To develop attitudes of love and respect for self and others through sharing and interaction.
* To provide an atmosphere that will enable key experiences that stimulate the child's processes, language development, and social development.
* To help children extend knowledge and understanding of their environment and gain a greater appreciation of home & community living.
* To help children plan and work individually and in small groups
* To begin development of good work habits.
* To enhance home-school relationships through sharing & involvement.

Schedule

Full Day Faith-Based 4K runs Monday through Friday from 8:15-3:15 (optional MWF only).

Half Day 4K runs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and is through Green Bay Area Public Schools.
Morning:  8:12 am - 11:15 am
Afternoon:  12:15 pm - 3:18 pm

Full Day 4K Supply List

• Picture of child for locker
• Backpack/Bookbag
• Canvas Bookmobile Bag (to be purchased at school  - $3.00)
• Folder with bottom pockets & name on front (no plastic folders - papers fall out easily)
• 3 packs washable Crayola markers - 8 basic colors (one set is for Art)
• 1 small bottle of glue
• 1 box of crayons
• Paint shirt (old t-shirt or button down)
• 3 packs of glue sticks (6-pack size)
• 2 canister of disinfecting wipes (Clorox, Lysol, etc.)
• 1 pack of straws
• 1 Water color paints (8 basic color set)
• 1 package of napkins
• 2 boxes crackers (or snacks to share)
• 1 pair of children's scissors (blunt end)
• 1 box ziplock bags - sandwich size (last name A - M)
• 1 box ziplock bags - gallon size (last name N - Z)
• 1 package small paper plates (last name A - M)
• 1 package large paper plates (last name N - Z)
• 2 reams copier paper
• Change of clothing to be left in locker (labeled)
• No need to label other items
